Grades will be computed along the following lines:
- 60% homeworks;
- 15% midterm exam;
- 15% final exam;
- 10% class participation;
Notes:
- Late Policy: students are granted 3 late days to be used
at their discretion. One problem can be 3 days late, three
problems can be one day late and so on. Students should send
me an email when you plan to use a late day. Once the late
days are used up, late work will not be accepted.
- Unless specified otherwise, problem sets must be
svn-committed for grading by
5PM on the specified due date.
- Students missing an exam without prior
permission of the instructor will need a note from their
doctor.
- Any violation of
the University's policy on academic integrity will result in a failing
grade for the course.
